Where to go for New Year's holidays in Moscow?

Despite the seemingly impressive set of restrictions in the capital, the authorities have prepared enough free events for a bright New Year celebration.

RAS Observation Deck

A little-known observation deck, next to the new building of the Russian Academy of Sciences, located at a height of 60 meters. The site is open around the clock, and the entrance to it is free and there are relatively few visitors. From it you can look at the Academy of Sciences, the monument to Yuri Gagarin, the embankments of the Moskva River, the skyscrapers of the Moscow City business center and the spire of Moscow State University.

The passage of the Upper Trading Rows was the name of GUM at the beginning and played a significant role in the development of the country's trade. Today, the country's main store hosts many events. This is not just a store, it is a department store, a leisure center and an art space that is constantly being improved.

Central streets
