Chambers of the Romanov Boyars

The huge museum of the Old Russian architectonics is located near the Red Square in the open air. Michael I is the first Russian tsar in the house of Romanov (the last tsar dynasty in Russia), was born here on the 12th of July, 1596.
Chambers of the Romanov boyars is the unique museum of the life of Moscow boyars (members of the highest rank of the feudal aristocracies) lived from the 16th to the 17th century. Here you can find recreated interiors as living and as household accommodations, clothes and implements tile stoves, tooled leathers, coffers, ancient books, textiles and other. Visit the museum and you will find yourself in the time of the old orthodox and patriarchal structure.
