The Exposition of Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val represents the Russian XX century art retrospective. Masterpieces of Russian avant-garde like the Black Square by Kazemir Malevich works by painters of after war period, underground art and experimental works of the most modern trends can be seen here.
In the halls of the gallery are held retrospective exhibitions of the grand and world-famous Russian painters and young gifted masters. The inner court of the gallery in summer becomes Moscow concert open-air place.
