The Historical Museum opened its front door on the Red Square for the first time in 20 years for guests. Coming through this door, visitors can see vaults of the semi-basement, where the family tree of Russian tsars from Prince Vladimir to Alexander III. The front door will be open during the summer.

Moreover, opening hours of the museum and its branches are changed. The Historical Museum, the Patriotic War of 1812 Museum are open seven days a week. The first Tuesday of each month is a sanitary day.
