MARBLE PALACE (RUSSIAN MUSEUM)
The Marble Palace, built in 1768–1785 specifically for Catherine the Great favorite Count Grigory Orlov, in course of time was turned into a royal residence. The major construction material of the exterior and interior decorations was natural stone: nearly 30 sorts of granite and marble. In the halls of the palace you can visit the permanent exposition: the unique "Ludwig Museum in the Russian museum" – the collection of Western and Russian art from the middle of the XX century to the beginning of the XXI century, and "The Rzhevsky Brothers Collection", including paintings, sculptures and graphic arts of the XVIII-XX centuries, and decorative and applied arts as well.

You will be given a three-day ticket while changing your St. Petersburg CityPass tear-off ticket in one of ticket offices of the State Russian Museum. Please, save the ticket to use it during the period of it’s availability.
