RIMSKY-KORSAKOV MUSEUM
Rimsky-Korsakov’s apartment is a unique composer’s museum in St. Petersburg. Here Rimsky-Korsakov spent last 15 years of his life (1893-1908) and composed 11 of 15 operas.
Memorial part of the museum consists of four rooms: a study, a living room and a dining rooms and anteroom with original family belongings. The museum not only recreates the interior of Rimsky-Korsakov’s flat, but also a special atmosphere of art and creativity felt there. As before, this apartment hosts chamber evenings felt there with the leading soloists of theatres and philharmonic halls.
The exposition of the exhibition hall is changed twice a year.
