“Tourist Oscar” goes to Saint Petersburg

Third year St. Petersburg won the World Travel Awards and was named Europe's Leading Destination and received the title of the World's Leading Culture City Destination. 

The World Travel Awards was established in 1993. Awards are given annually in various nominations, in accordance with decisions taken by an international jury of hospitality experts. The World Travel Awards has been called the Oscars of the tourism industry, as "the brand is recognized globally as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence."

According to the Russia CityPass, in 2017 more than 6 million tourists will come to St. Petersburg.
